Berry Gordy's Former 'Motown Mansion' Sells For $1.6 Million Dollars in Detroit.

The 100 Year Old Home Built in 1917 was Berry Gordy's Former Residence.

The buyer is said to be a native Detroiter who's coming back to the area from San Francisco.

The new owner will soon enjoy the 10 bedrooms over the 10,500 square-foot main residence along with an 1100 square-foot apartment with 3 bedrooms, a five-car carriage house, and athletic facilities.

The mansion also featured a limestone entry hall, a living room with Black Walnut paneling and Italian Marble fireplace.
